Wilma Hildebran Yoder

Wilma Hildebran Yoder, age 94, passed away March 20th, 2019. Born in Hickory, NC, and formerly from Pensacola, FL, she was a longtime resident of Fairhope, AL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Wendell Byron Yoder. She is survived by her children, Zane Byron Yoder and wife Janice of Daphne, Cheryl Yoder Hill and husband Bill of Fairhope, Vicki Yoder York of Fairhope, her adored grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was the treasure of her family and a woman of character, determination, and intelligence. During her life, she was a longstanding member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope and remained a firm pillar of her faith. Mrs. Yoder’s creativity was well known in areas of gardening, home décor and tailoring but excelled in mixed media painting as a highly accomplished artist, leaving many cherished examples of her talents. A celebration of Mrs. Yoder’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
