Willie Joshua Young, Jr.

Mr. Willie Joshua Young, Jr, affectionately known as Top, was born on June 22,1939, a resident of Loxley, AL, was called home on December 9,2023. He was the son of the late Willie, Sr. and Sarah Young. He was a faithful member of Shrine of the Holy Cross Catholic Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Royster Young. He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis, Johnny, and Clauzell Young. One sister, Helen Young Autry. He leaves to cherish his memories two devoted children, Deborah Young (Kermitt) Hardy, Daphne, AL, Darrell Young, Birmingham, AL. One loving and devoted grandson Shawn Young, Loxley, AL. Two sisters, Mary Ingram, Sparta, GA; Christine (David) Weathers, Milton, Florida; one brother, Anthony (Irma) Young, Loxley, AL; sister in law, Celestine Woods, Theodore, AL; Liz Richmond, Las Vegas, NV; Vera (Don) Williams, Humble, TX; Irma Buchanan, Fairhope, AL; Rebecca Stallworth, Mobile, AL; Betty Young, Waco, TX.; brother-in-law; Charles (Frances) Royster; Milwaukee, WI; Richard Royster, Milwaukee, WI; John Pope, Hesperia, CA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special friend of the family, Clara Fitzgerald. Visitation will be December 16, 2023, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, in Fairhope, AL, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am.
