William John Reese, Jr. age 79, a resident of Daphne, AL passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025.

William was a devoted Catholic, a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from the Army Corp of Engineers after serving 20 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby Reese; sisters, Alma Saucier, and Theresa Vaughn; brother, Walter Reese.

He is survived by his son, Bill (Tammy) Reese of Daphne, AL; daughter, Paula Capps of Mobile, AL, and a sister, Bobbie Ueki of Frisco, CA; four granddaughters, Brittany (James) Stanchio of Theodore, AL, Aspen Reese of Mobile, AL, Lana (Drake) O’Neail of Lucedale, MS, Abby Capps of Theodore, AL; seven Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Chapel, Daphne, AL .

A Graveside Service will be held following the visitation at 1pm in the Alabama State Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
