William Joseph McGlauflin

William Joseph McGlauflin age 63, a native of Salida, CO, and a resident of Fairhope, AL, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Mr. McGlauflin was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving for 17 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope where he served as a Deacon; he also served on the church security team. Mr. McGlauflin was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Laura McGlauflin of Fairhope, AL; children, Kathleen Russell (Leo) of Richmond, VA, Jeffrey D. Lovingood, Jr. (Rachel) Fairhope, AL; two sisters; four grandchildren, Terry Russell (Lindsey) of Goochland, VA, Jeffrey Russell (April) of Raiford, FL, J.D. Lovingood, III of Fairhope, AL, Rose Lovingood of Fairhope, AL; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at the First Baptist Church of Fairhope. Committal service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Fairhope.
