WILLIAM EDWARD MCCLELLAN
FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA

William Edward McClellan, age 75, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 4, 2022.

Edward was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama. He retired after 37 years with CSX Railroad. Edward was a Mason and a Shriner. He was also a musician, avid golfer, wood worker and a loyal Tennessee fan.

Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anita H. McClellan of Fairhope, Alabama; daughter, Jennifer McClellan Reed (Jay) of Cartersville, Georgia; brother, George McClellan (Kay) of Franklin Tennessee; grandchildren, Jackson Edward Hellen and Jason Anthony Hellen both of Dallas, Georgia; nephews; other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00pm, Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church, 6847 Park Drive, Daphne, Alabama, 36526.

Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Oaks & Nichols Funeral Home, 320 West Seventh Street, Columbia, TN 38401. 

Inurnment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens, 6465 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, Tennessee, 38401.
