William Jackson Goram, Sr.

GORAM   William “Jack” Jackson Goram, Sr., age 82, resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017. He was a very respected, modest, and successful businessman who loved and lived for his family. Mr. Goram was preceded in death by his son, Bill Goram, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Helen Summerlin Goram of Daphne, Al; daughter, Susan (Jim) Stillwagon of Houston, TX; son, Michael (Bonita) Goram of Gulf Shores, AL; sister, Mildred (Gaston) Roberts of Bay Minette, AL; brothers, Robert (Joyce) Goram of Daphne, AL, John (Margaret) Goram of Stapleton, AL, James Goram of Fairhope, AL; daughter-in-law, Lynda Goram of Spanish Fort, AL; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Mr. Goram’s life will be held from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
