William Allen Fleming

September 28, 1964 — May 27, 2024

Fairhope

William (Bill) Allen Fleming, 59 went to be with Jesus on May 27th 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He will be dearly missed by anyone who was fortunate to know him.

Bill’s celebration of life will be held on July 27th at Five Rivers Delta Center in Spanish Fort, AL. Family only from 10am-11am with a service for everyone at 11am and light refreshments to follow.

Bill was born in Raleigh, NC on September 28th, 1964, to Harvey and Mary Eugenia Fleming. As a child, Bill grew up visiting his grandmother Mary Eugenia Averyt on her farm in Orville, AL and had the fondest memories of that time. He would always be so proud to bring his children to see her and walk the family property, hunting, exploring and telling stories about his childhood. I truly believe it was his favorite place in the world. He lived in Thomasville, LaGrange, GA then Homestead and finally Pensacola; all of which were deeply a part of him but would call Pensacola his hometown, where he lived until he graduated Woodham high school in 1982. He attended Troy State and graduated in 1988 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He married his wife Leis Kaiser in the fall on September 24th 1988 and they had three children. Along the way they lived in Snellville, GA then his grandmothers farm in Orrville, then Foley and Montgomery AL and eventually settling in Fairhope, AL in 1999 where he called home for the rest of his life.

Bill held many different titles in his life but the one he was the most proud of was Dad. Bill was a loving, warm and caring father and was so incredibly proud of his three children, boasting their accomplishments to anyone he met. He loved exploring a mountain city with them when the weather was cool. Peak autumn foliage with a chill in the air and a crisp apple in his hand was a perfect day for Bill.

Bill was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope, AL and grew up at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Pensacola, FL where his father worked as the Director of Christian Education.

He is survived by his Ex-Wife and mother of his children Leis Kaiser of Fairhope; their three children, daughter Alexandra Evans and her husband Zachary of Pensacola, daughter Morgan Fleming of Spanish Fort, and his son William Fleming of Mobile. He would also want to include his “step daughters” Sadie Huddleston and Rebecca Huffman whom he loved dearly and claimed as his own. He had three beloved grandchildren: Linden Godwin, Estus Evans, and Elliot Evans. His sister Lynn Graham and her husband Karl of Clanton and their children Beth, Mary Katherine and James; and his grand niece and three grand nephews.
