William Gary Champion

William Gary Champion, age 73, resident of Bay Minette, AL, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. William was a hardworking man and loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Snow Champion Brizell, and Linda Sue Champion. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce C. Champion of Bay Minette; children, William Lee Champion (Krista Lashley) of Alexander City, AL, Deanna Darlene Champion of Bay Minette; sisters, Sue Whitty of Wilmer, AL, Shirley Moore of Duncansville, AL, Tommie Jean Loper of Mobile; brother, Bobby LeFoy Champion of Daphne; 2 grandchildren, William Shawn Champion, Joshua hunter Killcrease; nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of William’s life will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
