William "Bill" L. Reid

William (Bill) L Reid passed peacefully with his family on 10-09-2018. Bill was an educator at Daphne Middle School as well as an instructor at the University of South Alabama. A former firefighter and EMT, Bill served his community well and influenced many generations of Alabamians by way of his callings including conservation, hunter safety, and fly angler outreach. Bill is survived by his loving wife Elisabeth Reid, daughter Katie Mattingly (nee Reid), son Dylan Reid and his sister Carolyn Reid. His greatest joys included sharing his love for music and the outdoors with his granddaughters Mary Frances Mattingly and Zoe Reid. A private memorial service will be held at a date yet to be determined.
