William A. "Billy" Daugherty

William A. Daugherty (Billy), age 86, resident of Bay Minette, AL, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Billy was born in McIntosh, AL, was an all-round athlete (football, basketball, and baseball) and a 1952 graduate of Leroy High School. He was a long time member of the Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, but his number one interest was his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, “Noogie” and Lula Daugherty; siblings, Armand and Hazel and his wife Janie. He is survived by his children Cindy (Billy) Odom of Houston, TX, Ronnie Daugherty of Bay Minette, AL, Lee Daugherty of Bay Minette, AL, Bill Daugherty of Winter Garden, FL; grandchildren, William (Erin) Odom of Houston, TX, Britton Daugherty of Flomaton, AL, Mary Katherine (Lewis) Chong of Houston, TX, Madyson Daugherty of Lafayette, LA, Anne Marie Daugherty of Winter Garden, FL, Gus Daugherty of Winter Garden, FL; great grandchildren, Ryan Odom, Sean Odom, Quinn Odom, all of Houston, TX; other loving relatives and friends.
