Wesley James Manning

Wesley J. Manning, 81, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Mr. Manning was born in Sandusky, Ohio and raised in Foley, Alabama. He was a lifelong

resident of the Mobile Bay area. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. He enjoyed a long

career in the data processing department at Morrison Restaurants and as a computer

programmer for several other companies.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Wesley and Marjorie Manning.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jo Ann Neal Manning; daughter, Traci Manning (Charles

Nevin Sr.) of Foley, AL ; son, David (Carrie) Manning of Daphne, AL; sister, Kathy Bischoff (Joe)

of Foley, AL; along with 4 grandsons Wesley Nevin, William Nevin, Charles Nevin Jr. , and

Matthew Manning and one granddaughter Charlotte Jo Manning, and other relatives and

friends.

Visitation will be held at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 10:00AM.

A Graveside service will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery in Foley, Alabama on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:30AM.

To honor Wesley’s memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
