Warren Royce Thompson, loving husband, left us on Saturday, October 7, 2023. He passed away peacefully at his home in Fairhope. He was born in Molong, New South Wales, Australia. Even though his failing heart took him away from his family and so many friends, here and in Australia, his loving heart left a beacon of light for his family and friends. Warren Royce Thompson, loving husband, left us on Saturday, October 7, 2023. He passed away peacefully at his home in Fairhope Alabama. He was born in Molong, New South Wales, Australia. Even though his failing heart took him away from his family and so many friends, here and in Australia, his loving heart left a beacon of light for his family and friends. Warren was preceded in death by his father, William Thompson and brother, Terry Thompson. He was a citizen of Australia and a US resident. He worked his entire 43 years for Hunter New England Health in NSW Australia. Warren retired as a Forensic Psychiatrist; he was a graduate of Sydney Medical School in Sydney NSW, Australia. Warren was a long-standing member of the Studebaker Driver’s Club, Antique Studebaker Club and the Avanti Club. Warren was a passionate car enthusiast. His love of the Studebaker’s began in the late 1970’s. Warren sat on the Board of the the Studebaker International Zone Board for the pass 6 years. He was a Studebaker judge of newsletters and attended many Studebaker International meets since early 1980’s. He owned many Studebakers over his 40 year long association with Studebaker’s. Warren and his wife, Susan, met through her parents who met Warren at an Australian International meet in the late 1980’s. Warren and Susan married in 2005. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Thompson; his wife, Susan Thompson; siblings, Shirley Street and William Thompson; his son, Justin Thompson and his wife, Anna, and their two children, Olivia and Ruby; stepson, Robert Lokar and his wife Laura and their children, Vivian and Alice. Warren loved his family, and his 4 granddaughters which he adored.
