Walter Frank Bates, Jr.

BATES ELBERTA, AL Walter Frank Bates, Jr., age 86, resident of Elberta, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Mr. Bates was a former chapter commander of DAV, member of Church of Christ, and a lifetime member of the VFW. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Bates and Audrey Rorabacher; sons, James Bates, Alan Bates, Joseph Bates, Brian Bates; grandchildren, Carly Rorabacher, Brandon Rorabacher, Joshua Bates, Michael Bates, Logan Mulich; other loving relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:00 am from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
