Wade Floyd

Wade Camp Floyd, age 88, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. He was the owner and operator of Floyd Mining Company, Inc. and was a past president of the Alabama Coal Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Winters Floyd; parents, John & Pauline Floyd; sons, Jon and Scott Floyd. He is survived by son, Jeff (Laura) Floyd, Abbeville, LA; daughter, Stacey Floyd, Gulf Shores, AL; grandchildren, Jon (Camille) Floyd, Cree (Zack) Floyd Mire, Kirby Floyd, Betty (Will) Shaw Callaway, Camp (Jenny) Shaw, Carson (CJ) Shaw Felcher; great-grandchildren, Carver, Chase and Owen. A private family memorial service will be held, Thursday August 6, 2020 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The family wishes to thank Shirley Burnett and Josephine Prim for their many years of dedicated, loving service.
