Victor Koehn, age 90, beloved husband and father, passed away May 3, 2024. Victor was born November 24, 1933, in Marion, South Dakota. He attended Grace Bible College in Omaha, Nebraska for three years, earning a diploma in Missions. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. He married Eloise Senner in June 1956 and studied at the University of Tennessee, earning a Bachelors in Education. After graduation they moved to the Hamilton, Ohio area where they remained for 40 years, raising their family. Victor taught 7th and 8th grade math & science, switching later to 5th grade. Victor also earned a Masters in Education from Xavier University.
Victor was active in church, serving as an Elder, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, a member of various committees, and other leadership roles. Victor enjoyed travel and he and Eloise were able to visit all 50 states.
Victor is survived by his daughters and their spouses: Orielle and Dale Doud, Wynelle and David Fugett, and Giselle and Bob Hepokoski. He is also survived by his grandchildren and their spouses: Brian and Megan Doud, Jennifer and Justin Atkinson, Justin and Megan Fugett, Ryan and Courtney Fugett, Matthew and Sarah Fugett, Brent and Amena Hepokoski, and Tim and Courtney Hepokoski and six great-grandchildren: Caroline Doud, Eliza Atkinson, Quinn Fugett, Vivian Atkinson, Carson Doud and Kailyn Fugett. Victor is also survived by a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and by many nieces and nephews.
Victor is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Eloise Koehn.
The graveside service will be held at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort on May 14, 2024.
