Vera Winifred Callaway

Mrs. Vera Winifred Callaway a resident of Foley, AL, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the age of 96. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Foley, AL. Vera worked for WHEP radio station for 30+ years She was preceded in death by her husband, John Callaway; two sons, Ferrin & Eugene Callaway; three sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Philomene Callaway of Foley, Al; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Foley, Al., on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
