Thomas Potter Ollinger, Jr. aka “Corky” July 30th 1952 – March 10th 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Tom P. Ollinger, Sr., Alexina Dooley Ollinger and granddaughter, Amelia Charlotte Bussey. Survived by his beloved wife of 36 years Mechell Fitz-Gerald Ollinger; Daughters, DeLacy Ollinger Bussey (Frederick T.) and Lauren Elizabeth Ollinger; sisters, Christy Ollinger Neely (Tom) and Becky Ollinger Ebneter (Stewart); Nephew, Thomas Neely, III (Cecilianne), numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family. Corky was born and raised in Mobile and relocated to Fairhope in 1995. He graduated from Murphy High school, Auburn University and the University of Alabama School of Law. Corky was an avid Auburn Fan and loved his Orange and Blue. He formed many close friendships throughout his life and made a habit of maintaining those relationships. He was an able and respected lawyer who gave his all to every client, always putting their interests first. He enjoyed friends, fellowship, painting, reading, volunteering, golf and tennis during his very active and fulfilled life. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
