Teddie Lloyd Council, Sr.

Teddie Lloyd Council, Sr. age 89, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. He was born in Daphne, AL on November 17, 1931. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Voltz Council and Alexander Crow Council, Sr.; his brothers, Alexander Crow “Connie” Council, Jr. and James Madison “Jimmy” Council. He graduated from Fairhope High School in 1951 where he met his wife, Betty. He retired from GM & O Railroad in 1981. He is survived by his wife for over 67 years, Betty Hoffman Council; two daughters, Cindy Council Davison and Karen Council Lucassen (David); one son, Teddie Lloyd Council, Jr.(Kim); granddaughters, Amber Lucassen Sparks (Chris), Natalie Davison Allen (Brian), Margaret Ashley Council; grandsons, Adam Cole Lucassen (Casey), Jonathon Ryne Davison (Ashton), Tyler Lawrence Council; seven great grandchildren, Emily Brooke Sparks, Sadie Elizabeth Sparks, Anna Claire Sparks, Harper Elizabeth Allen, Taylor Elise Allen, Jonathon Cooper Davison, Leighton McKinion Davison and a Baby Boy on the way from Adam & Casey; sister-in-law, Nola Johnson of Toledo, OH, along with many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Fairhope United Methodist Church, with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope with Dr. Darren McClellan, Pastor of FUMC officiating.
