Sunny W. Bradshaw

January 10, 1947 — March 5, 2025

Fairhope

Sunny W. Bradshaw went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. He was 78 years old. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the Ballroom at Homestead Village, 924 Plantation Blvd., Fairhope, AL, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm with our Great Nephew, Rev. Matthew Cass officiating, supported by his wife, Jen Cass.

Sunny was born on January 10, 1947, in Greenville, MS. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1965, and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1966. His service included training at several locations throughout the US as well as providing mechanical support for multiple combat aircraft in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1970 and returned to Greenville, MS. That is where he met Linda Rose Morgan on a blind date arranged by their mothers, and they have been together ever since.

He was a member of the Lions Club where he served as President and held other offices for several years in Booneville, AR. He was saved when he was 19. He actively served as Deacon at First Baptist Church in Greenville, MS, and taught Sunday School there and in Booneville, AR, for 33 years. He also sang in the choir and served on many committees. He loved the Lord, and you didn't have to be around him long to know it! He was very generous with whatever blessings he received from the Lord and believed the scripture in Matthew that says (paraphrased) whenever you give, do it in secret and the Lord will reward you but if you go around bragging about what you've done, then that will be your only reward. His life’s purpose was to bring glory to God in all things.

Sunny worked in private industry and for the Federal Government for numerous years before establishing Sunnyland Berry Farm in Booneville, AR, in 1983. In 1990 Sunnyland was named Logan County’s Farm Family of the year. He owned and operated Sunnyland for 38 years before moving to Fairhope, AL to be closer to Brad and Dawson because of poor health.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Aultman and stepfather Jack Bradshaw. Sunny is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Bradshaw, his son, Brad Morgan, daughter-in-law Dawson Morgan of Fairhope, AL and grandchildren Max Morgan of Destin, FL & Emory Morgan of Franklin, TN; step-sister Mary Hyde (Jay) of Texas Creek, CO; brother and sister-in-law Mike & Susan Guercio of Venice, FL; nieces Margaret Rose Walker (Danny) of Collierville, TN; Kimberly Cass of San Antonio, TX; nephews Jack R. Cass, Jr. (Cindy) of Harlingen, TX; John M. Guercio (Tess) of Jerseyville, IL; Keith Guercio of Venice, FL; and many beloved great nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Gideons International (gideons.org).
