Mrs. Suellen Johnson Vittitow, age 80, a native of DeWitt, AR and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.
She was a Methodist by faith which she was devoted to, and also to her family. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1986; she was a teacher in both Alabama and Louisiana. Mrs. Vittitow retired from St. Tammany Parish School District in 1993. She also worked at the U.S. Embassy State Department from 1993-1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Ellen Johnson.
Her survivors include her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Vittitow of Fairhope; her son, Wade Vittitow (Traci) of Fairhope; daughters, Marianne Stafford (Hal) of Pelham, AL, and Beth Davis (Sean) of Baton Rouge, AL; sister, Billie Bob Hoskyn of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Morgan Stafford of Pelham, AL and Parker Vittitow of Fairhope; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Vittitow’s life will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 10:30am at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Baldwin Family Village in care of Fairhope United Methodist Church.
