Sue Opitz Swanson

Sue Opitz Swanson Born in Fallon, Nevada on April 21, 1942, passed away July 30, 2020. While an infant, her family moved back to the Opitz Farm in Anthony, N. M. Over the years she lived in N. M., Colorado, and Texas. She had a career in banking and bookstore Management. In 1975 she and her 10 old son, Lance (deceased), moved to Tyler, Texas where she met her husband Wally Swanson. In 1984 they moved to the Eastern Shore On Mobile Bay. She had done extensive travel, but when she found lower Alabama, she had found her Paradise. She returned to a country girl, at last. She was an avid animal lover, gardener, book reader. She enjoyed some years working the voting polls. Sue is survived by her husband, Wally, stepson, Allen Swanson, Lindale, Tx stepdaughter Debbie Walker (Jonathan), Rougemont, N.C.
