Steven E. Cochran

Steven E Cochran (Steve, Stevo, Big Daddy), 67, took his last earthly breath on January 28, 2019. Steve was in his home surrounded by family and friends. He was a graduate of Vigor High School in 1969. He served in the National Guard from 1971-1977 then attended trade school to become a technician for the Xerox Corporation for nearly 25 years. He then entered the stevedoring business until retiring. Steve and his wife, Sharon, were members of 3 Circle church in Fairhope, AL. Steve was an avid lover of Alabama Crimson Tide football, but most of all loved spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his father, Robert Cochran, and his brother, Anthony Cochran. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon; Mother, Jean; Sisters, Debra, Susie (Bob); Sons, Steven (Tonie), Sam; daughter, Mandy (Andy); and grandchildren, Stephanie, Zach, Jake, Will, Paul, Mary Carlisle and Mollie and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, February 4, 2019, from 10:00 until 11:00 am., followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family would like to express their greatest thanks to the staff at Southern Cancer center and Springhill Hospice for their amazing care and support.
