Stephen Paul Schwartzer

Stephen Paul Schwartzer, age 74, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 8:35 PM at USA University Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. He was born on January 20, 1949, and grew up with a passion for golf, which he started playing at the young age of three. Stephen went on to become a successful PGA golfer and won numerous tournaments throughout his career. After retiring from his position as a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo in Los Angeles, California, Stephen continued to pursue his love of golf and played regularly in local tournaments and events. He was known for his dedication and skill on the course, and he inspired many young golfers to follow in his footsteps. Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Lucy Schwartzer, and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He had no siblings but had a large extended family who loved him dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Stephen's name to the PGA Foundation or the American Cancer Society. Stephen will always be remembered for his love of golf, his dedication to his work, and his kind and generous spirit. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
