Spencer Louis Butler, Sr.

Spencer Louis Butler, Sr., age 78, resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018.   Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. Butler Sr. and Josephine Grammar Butler; sister, Helen B. Henderson; brother, Joseph E. Butler Jr.   He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Melvina Johnson Butler of Mobile Al; sons, Spencer Louis Butler, Jr. (Thérèse) of Duncanville, TX, Bradford J. Butler of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Eugenie Christina Bettis (Jesse) of Mobile, Al; sisters, Mrs. Celina B. Carter, Mrs. Jessie B. Sanders, Mrs. Delphine Butler, Mrs. Gloria B. Beverly, Mrs. Marion B. Mills; 7 grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.   Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne AL.
