Shirley Cain Miles

Mrs. Shirley Marie Cain Miles went to be with her Lord April 8, 2021 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL. Shirley was born in the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, MD on January 16, 1943. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, 200 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Cain and mother, Helen Marie Trumpower Cain and her great grandson, Maddux Lemoine. Mrs. Miles is survived by her husband, Terry L. Miles of Fairhope; sons, Keith Lynn Miles (Twyla) of Spanish Fort and Anthony T. Miles (Cecilia) of Kingwood, TX; sister-in-law, Donna Kincaid; granddaughters, Lauren Miles, Amber Miles Johnston (Lee), Brandy Adkins (Jerod), and Kayla Lemoine (Josh); grandsons, Daniel L. Miles (Hannah) and Alan Waugh; great grandsons, L. J. Adkins, Jacob Cade Miles and Landen Lemoine; great granddaughters, Locksley Johnston, Avery Grace Johnston, Ela Rai Lemoine, Zarai Lemoine, Maysie Lemoine and Hadley Geiger; sister, Merilyn A. Hovermale; many other loving relatives and friends. Shirley loved playing bridge and being with her family and friends. She volunteered as a docent at the Swift Cole House in Bon Secour, AL for five years. Her career ranged from being School Secretary, Brown and Root Site Secretary and Material Analyst to manager of the secretarial pool at Booz Allen. Shirley was 1-0 as coach of her son’s little league team while Terry was away on travel. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held Monday, April 12, 2021, at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 10:30 with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your charity of choice or to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 200 S.
