Sheila Lynn Harriman

Fairhope resident since 2000, Sheila Lynn Harriman, the daughter of Andrew Ottis Davis and Evelyn Wortham, was born in October 1945 in Oklahoma. Sheila’s only child, Angela Maree, passed away in 1996. Her only sibling, Mechelle Davis, lives in California.

Her husband, Paul Harriman, of Fairhope, AL survives her. They have enjoyed their many friends and playing golf in retirement at the Lakewood Club in Point Clear. Sheila was known to be a keen competitive golfer. Paul cared for her during her extended illness and with the assistance of the Comfort Care Hospice team, who managed well to keep her pain free and as comfortable as possible. A long life together was enjoyed throughout the United States, Europe and Australia.

Sheila was raised in Oklahoma until age 13 and then her family moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she lived until high school graduation. She then resided in California attending the University of California at Santa Barbara and developed an interesting and successful career in sales and marketing.  She was a senior executive with several national medical companies.

Sheila was an active congregant of the St. James Episcopal Church in Fairhope.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at St. James in October. Details will be advised later.
