Sheila Harrison Baehr passed away at home on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the age of 70. She was born in Mobile, Alabama, to James “Ronnie” and Eunice Harrison.
With her husband Jimmy, they owned and operated a family business, Baehr’s Automotive, for over 40 years. Her customers were more like family to her and she cherished their friendships. She and Jimmy had a special bond like no other. They were truly best friends and completely devoted to one another.
Sheila was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived her life setting an example for all who knew her, but especially for her children and grandchildren. She taught them how to love and treat others, to never leave anyone out, that family is everything, and most importantly to live a Christ centered life. She would say her life’s greatest accomplishment and joy was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Jimmy Baehr; sons, Robert Baehr and Richard Baehr (Cindy); daughters, Amanda Keese (David), Jamie Baehr (Chris), and Monica Cotton (Thomas); sisters, Rhonda Kitchen and Elaine Petty; grandchildren and many other loving relatives and dear friends.
To honor Sheila’s memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Per her wishes, there will be a small private family celebration only.
