Sharon Ratliff

Sharon Lee Batcheller Ratliff of Magnolia Springs, Alabama, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023, at the age of 90. Sharon was born on January 23, 1933, to Dorothy and George Reeder Batcheller in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from Sioux City High School, attended Bradford Junior College, and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder. Sharon was a loving wife, mother of three children, grandmother of seven, and great grandmother of three. She will be missed by all who knew her contagious laugh. She is survived by her son, Gregory (Isabel) Ratliff of Zurich, Switzerland, son, Reeder (Laura) Ratliff of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and daughter, Megan Ratliff Conwell (Jim) of Magnolia Springs, Alabama. Sharon was known as Tyda and Tots by her grandchildren, Ines (Perico), William and Christina Ratliff; Paul (Peyton) and John (Chase) Ratliff; and Joseph and Henry Conwell who all cherished her love and cheerful spirit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lee Ratliff. The family plans to have a Celebration of Life ceremony to commemorate Sharon at a later date.
