Sandra "Sandi" Fortner

Sandra “Sandi” Kaye Fortner, age 69, a resident of Barnwell, AL, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. Sandi was a loving, compassionate, beautiful, and humble wife, Momma, sister, friend, and Grammy. She was a sweet and devoted teacher of thirty seven years in both public and parochial schools. She was a longtime member of Barnwell Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of forty six years, “Bub” Fortner of Fairhope; daughters, Lisa (Brian) Padgett of Pendagrass, GA and Jessica (Steve) Gann of New Market, TN; grandchildren: Andria, Braden and Andy; brothers, Charles (Ellen) White of Bena, VA and Stephen White of Ashville, NC; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Barnwell Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
