Samuel Joseph Fitts

FITTS FOLEY, ALABAMA Samuel J. Fitts, age 77, passed away November 27, 2019. Mr. Fitts received his Masters of Religion from Samford /Beeson Divinity School. He was a member of Oyster Bay Baptist Church, he served in many Baptist Churches through the years as a Pastor and Youth Director. Heaven gained a special angel. He was loved by many. He loved the Lord and was honored to be able to teach about God and His love. Preceded in death by his son, Sammy who was waiting to jump Into his Daddy’s arms, his parents; Russel and Mildred Fitts, and his brother; Thomas Fitts. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Iris Kielbasa Fitts of Foley, son; Michael John (Doxie) Fitts, grandchildren; Jordan, Tristen, Trevan, brother; Charles R. Fitts (Linda); sister in law, Jan Bailey (Bill) and many other loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00am from Oyster Bay Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the building fund of Oyster Bay Baptist Church, 4280 Plash Rd.
