Bennett, Mrs. Sally Belle, age 87, of Daphne, passed away March 29, 2021. Sally was born to the late Thomas Leon Wallace and Nora Boyington Wallace on February 12, 1934 in Robertsdale, AL. Sally attended Robertsdale High School and was a lifelong resident of the eastern shore community of Baldwin County. She maintained for several years a part-time retail career working in local boutiques where her astute sense of fashion and gregarious personality endeared her to faithful customers. She was a member of Daphne United Methodist Church for nearly 50 years contributing to its growth with her kind and welcoming nature. A devout Christian, her faith and life-long desire to grow spiritually was an inspiration. Belle, as she was known to family and friends, was a dedicated homemaker who infused her love for food, fellowship and laughter into providing for her family. Never meeting a stranger, her disarming blend of intuitive intelligence and nurturing instincts drew people to her warm and graceful spirit. She will be remembered for her incredible example of strength and perseverance in adversity. She was a happy, compassionate and especially loving mother, wife, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed. Sally is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Matthew Clyde Bennett and their four sons, Richard Bennett (Jessica) of Ft. Myers, FL, Paul Bennett of Daphne, Matt Bennett (Elizabeth) of Franklin, TN, Mark Bennett (Shannon) of Nashville, TN, her brothers Richard Wallace (Betty) of Robertsdale, Jimmy Wallace (Kitty) of Robertsdale, Billy Wallace (Judy) of Monroeville; one sister, Joy Boykin (Joseph) of Fairhope. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Jordan Bennett Aiello (Scot), Jake Bennett, Matthew Bennett, Olivia Bennett. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Mitchell Cancer Institute. Funeral Services will be held graveside at Jubilee Memorial Gardens in Daphne, AL on Saturday April 3rd at 1:00pm with WOLFE-BAYVIEW Funeral Homes directing.
