Russell “Pierce” Harper II, age 25, a resident of Gulf Shores, AL, passed away on June 6, 2024.
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pierce, a soul so full of life, love, and laughter. He was born March 16, 1999, in Montgomery, AL. Pierce was an extraordinary individual whose presence lit up every room, bringing joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His humor and boundless energy were infectious, making every moment spent with him a cherished memory. Pierce was an aspiring musician with an incredible talent, having written over 3,500 songs, each a testament to his dedication and passion. He dreamed of fame but held steadfastly to his faith, often saying he would never sacrifice his love for God for anything in the world. His music was not just an expression of his talent but a reflection of his unwavering devotion and commitment to his dream.
As a loving father to Beckham, Pierce’s greatest desire was to provide a peaceful, nurturing environment and to see his family flourish. His love for God remained steadfast, even in his final days, as he knew he was called to greater things. Pierce’s life was a testament to his faith, his love, and his desire to be a warrior for God, alongside his brother, Dalton. To know Pierce was to be blessed by his kindness, his light, and his unwavering spirit. He was my beacon, a guiding light in times of darkness, and we take comfort in knowing that he now rests in Heaven, reunited with his brother. Pierce’s legacy of love, faith, and music will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear Piercey Poo. You are forever in our hearts, shining down on us from above.
