Rosemary Jane Rathmell

Mrs. Rosemary Rathmell, age 77, a native of England, naturalized citizen and resident of Gulf Shores, AL, died May 22, 2021. Mrs. Rathmell was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2009. Rosemary, as she was known, was a loving wife, mother, Nanna, and friend. Rosemary is survived by her children, daughter Karen Grunther and her husband Alan of North Port, FL., son David J. Rathmell of Gulf Shores, AL., sister Mary Parker of England, her grandson TJ Goff of Denver, CO, her granddaughter, Alexandria Brewster and husband Greely Brewster of Defuniak Springs, FL.,  her granddaughter Brooke Ridings and her husband Justin Ridings of Theodore, AL., her great grandchildren Dorian Brewster, Eve Brewster, Jon Ridings and Riley Aldrich, her best friend Sally and husband Jim Wilkinson of Foley, AL., nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held at O’Charley’s Restaurant in Foley, AL on Monday June 21^st, 2021, from 5 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
