Rosa Lee Dale

Rosa Lee Dale, age 83, a longtime resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 19, 2021. She was a member of New Era Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Dale was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Etta Pettaway; brothers, John and Robert Pettaway; and sisters, Ella, Cherry and Martha Pettaway. She is survived by her husband, Vandy Dale, Jr.; children, Mary Ann (Kennith) Young, Julius (Gladys) Pettaway, all of Fairhope and Randy (Elizabeth) Dale of Atmore; devoted grandson, Cedric “Chuckie” (Leslie) Dale of Daphne and Marcus (Yuko) Dale of Okinawa, Japan, Randy Dale, Jr of Daphne, Dominic Dale of GA and Carols Williams of Tuskegee, AL; great grandchildren, Yuki Dale of Okinawa, Japan, Tasia Dale of Daphne, Kyara Dale, Ciara Dale, Kennedi Williams, Kaiden Williams both of Tuskegee, AL, Elijah Dale of Mobile, and Emmanuel Dale of Mobile and Maliah Dale of Daphne; brother-in-law, Percy Dale of Fairhope; sister-in-law, Mary Dortch of Lake Geneva, WI; godson, Brenden (Stacy) Tarver; sisters, Daisy (Billy) Williams of Los Angeles, CA, Mary (Joe) Watkins of Glenellyn, IL, Hattie Pettaway of Naperville, IL, Mary Dortch of Fairhope and Ethel (Charlie) Johnson of Daphne; brother, Jessie Pettaway, Jr of Fairhope; devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and a host other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow funeral service at Twin Beech Cemetery.
