Ronald "Ron" Ross Lake

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Ross Lake, known to many as Ron, was born on December 30, 1960, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A beloved husband, father, papa, and friend passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 63 in Fairhope, Alabama, where he had made his home in recent years.

Ron was a beloved member of his community, known for his warm smile and kind heart. He was a University of Alabama alum and avid football fan, Roll Tide! Ron cherished his time spent fishing with his childhood best friend, Mark, and creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. The space he leaves behind is immense and deafening but filled with the love and affection of all who knew him. 

He is survived by his wife Pamela, two daughters Veronica and Kellie, one son Lane, and 5 grandchildren Mason, Kennedy, Charlie, MacKenzie and Walker. 

Come and celebrate Ron with his family and host of friends who will miss him dearly. The depth of love and happiness he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A service celebrating Ron's life will be held on August 29th. The viewing is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and memorial service 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, where friends and family are invited to remember a man that was truly a gift to us all.
