Rochelle Joy Gates

Rochelle Joy Gates, age 37, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018. She graduated from Fairhope High School in 2000 with an AL. Occupational Diploma. She was a member of The Dwelling Place, where she was a faithful worker with the children. Rochelle was a former employee of Thomas Hospital. Her survivors are her parents, Keith and Stephanie Gates of Fairhope; brother, Fred (Angela) Gates of Fairhope; sister, Regina (Gene) Amason of Flowood, MS; nieces, Olivia Gates of Fairhope and Audrey Amason of Flowood, MS; nephews, Trevor Gates of Fairhope, Charles Gates of Fairhope, and Cash Amason of Flowood, MS; aunts, Margaret Fox and Irene Lowe, both of the Bahamas; uncles, Mark Gates and Peter Gates, both of the Bahamas; and her loving pets, Julie Ann and Nova Grace. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
