Robert Edward Caldwell

Robert Edward Caldwell, age 82, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021. At one time, Robert enjoyed volunteering for the Foley Fire Department and the Fairhope Police Department. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope. He enjoyed long walks. Robert loved his wife and family dearly. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Louie Caldwell. Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diana Sims Caldwell of Fairhope; children, Lisa Sullivan (Blake) of Nashville, TN, Karen Barham (Scott) of Silverhill, Melissa “Missy” Tunstall, Gary Caldwell (Paula) of Monroeville, Susan Kaare of Cambridge, WI; twelve grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 3:00pm at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meals on Wheels, PO Box 1103, Fairhope, AL 36533.
