Richard Eugene Welsh was born August 11, 1958 in Tokyo, Japan to Roy Welsh and Maxine Callaway Welsh. He passed away on May 15, 2024.
Richard graduated from Foley High School and was a resident of South Baldwin county for the last 53 years. Rick was a business owner for much of his life and worked at Southern Chevrolet in Foley, AL for the last 10 years. He loved to play golf, travel, snow ski, scuba dive and fly.
Richard is survived by his son, Kevin (Amanda) Welsh; daughter, Julie (Sage) Dombrowski; grandchildren, Braxton and Kennedy Welsh, Colton and Avery Dombrowski; brother, Michael (Sharon) Welsh; sister, Darlene (Greg) Ashe; partner of many years, Pam Gilliam (Welsh); and many other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 pm, at The Cove Bar & Grill located at 131 Cove Ave. Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
