REEVES DAPHNE Richard Lloyd Reeves, 74, died on December 8, 2020 in Fairhope, AL. He was born in Paris, France on November 17, 1946 to Georgette and William Reeves. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy (nee Reimer), his children Michael, Daniel (Jacqueline) and Greg (Jeri), grandchildren Lincoln, Wilder and Henley, brother Daniel (Pat) and sister Evelyn and nieces and nephews, Lanny, Kerry, Katie, Bob and Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents Georgette Josephine Reeves (nee Wantz) and William G. Reeves. Born in Paris, Rich moved to the United States to attend Georgia Tech in 1964. Rich served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and spent his career with the FBI, serving in New Orleans, New York City, San Juan, and Mobile. After retirement, he joined the Alabama Attorney General’s office, and then formed a private investigative service. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Eastern Shore, and enjoyed golf, fishing, and New Orleans Saints football. Rich Reeves was kind, generous, devoted to his family and a dedicated servant of the public. Service will be held Monday, December 14 at 10:00 am at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Eastern Shore Building Fund.
