Richard Lee Cochran, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and son passed away on November 12, 2018 at the age of 69.  A native of Jackson, Mississippi and lifelong resident of Mobile and Baldwin counties.  Richard was born on October 30, 1949 to Nathan LeRoy and Lillian Pearl Cochran. Richard attended Murphy High School (Class of 1968) and earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in History from the University of South Alabama in 1972. He is preceded in death by his father Nathan Cochran; his nephew Bradley Cochran and great-niece Cassidy Cochran. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Becky “Balzli” Cochran; his daughter Stephanie Cochran of Daphne; grandchildren Braxton and Chase: his mother Lillian Cochran of Mobile: siblings, Thomas (Barbara) Cochran of Birmingham,  Steve Cochran of Tallahassee, FL., Michael (Debbie) Cochran of Daphne, and Patricia (Malcolm) Donalson of Mobile and many adoring nieces and nephews.  Richard was a great man who through his kindness, integrity, and gentle nature impacted the lives of those who knew and loved him and those he met along the way. He will be deeply missed.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
