Richard Buss

Richard Buss, who was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 26, 1937, passed away at his home in Foley, Alabama, on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Rich is survived by his wife of sixty years, Ann Buss; daughter Karen Smith (Al) of Fulton, Mississippi; sons Ken Buss (Laure) of Collierville, Tennessee, and John Buss (Nikki) of Starkville, Mississippi; sisters Dorothy Christofferson, Norma Miller (Jim) , and Janet Sullivan (Mike); brothers Ray Buss, Tom Buss, and Jim Buss (Jo Ann); grandchildren Shelley Smith-Stanton (Brian), Michael Buss (Serena), Brad Buss, Cody Smith, and Dylan Smith; eight great grandchildren. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Irene Buss; daughter, Chris Buss; sister, Deloris Hughes. Rich loved spending time with family, following sports and playing golf. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 22, 2020, at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret of Scotland in Foley. Visitation will be at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Margaret’s.
