Richard Bond

Richard Bond, age 81, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022. He was born in Union Springs, AL to R.E. Bond and Myrtle Vinson. He graduated from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University and became an ordained Methodist Minister. He also graduated from Yale University, School of Divinity, with a PHD in Philosophy. He taught at Ramapo College of New Jersey until he retired and moved back to Fairhope in 2002. Mr. Bond is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judith Mason Bond; his daughters, Jen Bond (Jon Hall) of Portland, OR and Johanna Bond (JD King) of Lexington, VA; grandchildren, Elijah King-Bond, Emmet King-Bond, and Josie King-Bond; brother, Norton Bond; sister, Judy Bond Walters; nephew, Brandon Bond; and nieces, Yancey Bond, Cori Walters and Anne Walters.
