Rev. Edward "Buddy" Cotten

Rev. Edward M. "Buddy" Cotten, quietly and peacefully went home to his heavenly Father Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11pm, in his home in Pace, FL. He was born, September 7, 1932 in Scottsboro, AL, but called Fairhope, AL his home.  Visitation will begin at Noon and continue until immediately followed by Funeral Services at 3pm, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, AL. Internment will Immediately follow,  there at Memory Gardens around 4-4:15pm. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at Avalon Baptist Church, Milton,  FL, at 3pm, Sunday, February 17, 2019. Ed "Buddy" Cotten, was known as Preacher, Daddy, Pip-Paw, Uncle Buddy... he survived by his sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Joan "Jody" Arnold Cotten, a Fairhope native. His brother, Marion "Mick" Cotten, sisters-in-law, Eldred Reber & Marilyn Cotten.  His 5 children & their spouses: Eddie (Lynda) Cotten, Debbie (Eric) Torpey, Rusty (Melanie) Cotten, Risa (Joey) Hawkins), & Matt (Charissa) Cotten; 13 grandkids & 9 spouses, 21 great-grandchildren & 1 spouse, 1 great-great-grandchild.
