Regina Marie Lane

Regina Marie Lane age 75, a resident of Daphne, AL passed away on December 31, 2020. She was born in St. Augustine, Florida where she resided for most of her life. She was a member of 3 Circle Church in Fairhope. In life, Regina never failed to bring a smile and often a laugh to those around her. She loved reading, playing games, children, her church, and her family. As her granddaughter, Savanna, so perfectly put it, “She had the funniest way of bringing us all together. She was so special.” Her family takes comfort that because of her strong faith the Lord, she has now “…passed from death to life” (John 5:24). Regina was preceded in death by her mother, Helen T. McQuaig, father Allen W. McQuaig, sister Carol M. “Marty” McQuaig and sister Jeanette “Sissy” Nettles. She is survived by sons Geoff (Alise) Lane of Daphne and Chris Lane of Mobile; brother Richard “Bubba” McQuaig of Sylvania, Georgia and sister Joan Croley of Phoenix, AZ; Grandchildren Christian Lane, Conner (Elizabeth) Lane, Savanna (Matthew) Cooper, Noah Lane, and Camrynn Lane; as well as many other relatives and friends. A private celebration of Regina’s life will be held at a later date.
