She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 67 years Ronald Vilord, a daughter Kimberly (Joe) Vosicky of Daphne, Alabama, and a son Jeffrey Vilord of Springfield, Missouri. Additionally, she had five grandchildren Alex Vosicky (Alyse), Molly Vosicky Stinchcomb (Andre), Brad Vilord (Amber), Nathan Vosicky (Allison), and Rachael Vilord. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren and a sister Jane Ronk Dotson (Peter) from Leawood, Kansas.
She was predeceased by a son Peter Vilord and her parents Emerson and Helen Ronk.
Priscilla married Ron on February 9, 1957, in Syracuse, New York. She attended Syracuse University where she studied Fine Arts and used her gifts and talents as an artisan her whole life. She was a gifted artist, involved with the Eastern Shore Art Center and Bay Rivers Art Guild for many years. Her paintings were her love language, beautiful and creative, often juried into local art shows and she was awarded for her excellence as a watercolor artist. Since her college days, she has illustrated many cookbooks and travel guides. She made beautiful baskets. She was a voracious knitter, making baby hats, blankets, and sweaters for family and charity. She also loved needlepoint, designing and completing many pillow and framed projects. In the 1970s she had a braided wreath enterprise where velvet, gingham check, country print, and glitter wreaths adorned many business establishments and homes in Kansas City, where she lived. Today many family members, friends, and strangers are the recipients of her artistry and she leaves her beautiful work as keepsakes to remember her and smile.
In the last few days of her life, surrounded by the love and care of her family, she affirmed that she had lived a full life. She was welcomed peacefully and joyfully to her forever home on Easter morning!
Priscilla was a long-time member of Fairhope Christian Church, and more recently, St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope.
