FAIRHOPE, ALPhyllis (Manning) Miller, a native of Foley and resident of Fairhope, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Her married life was dedicated to being a Christian wife and mother, making a loving home for her husband, her children, and grandchildren. Phyllis was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope. Phyllis was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Marie Miller, in 1962 and her husband of 59 years, George M. Miller, in 2013. She is survived by a son, George W. Miller (Patti), a daughter, Judy Miller Pacey (Paul III), five grandchildren, Emily Spagnuolo (Adam), Kacey Miller (Jordan Patterson), Colby Miller, Griffin Pacey, Olivia Pacey, and two great-grandchildren: Leonardo Miller and Luca Spagnuolo. A visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Phyllis will lie in state from 9:00 until 10:00a.m. Interment will follow the service at Pine Rest Cemetery in Foley. The family would like to express gratitude to Homestead Village Assisted Living, Oakland Place Specialty Care, Amedisys Home Health, and Kindred at Home Hospice for the loving care Phyllis received.
