Percy "Bert" Brantley

Percy “Bert” Brantley, age 86, a longtime resident of Fairhope, and a current resident of Gulf Shores, AL, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017. He was a Merchant Marine, Welder, Electrician, Plumber, etc. He was a “Jack of all Trades” with a welcoming personality who never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Landes Brantley; sons, Eddie Brantley and Bo Brantley; daughter, Karen Mautino; sister, Carolyn Bishop; brothers, Ralph Brantley, Billy Brantley and Edgar Brantley. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Robinson of Loxley and Barbara (Chris) Ybarra of Gulf Shores; son, Ronnie (Kathy) Brantley of Galliano, LA; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother, Sonny Brantley of Fairhope; many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation for Bert will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
