Penelope Sue Wentzel, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the age of 80.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a graduate of Western Michigan University, graduating with a master’s degree in education. She taught in Chicago, Houston, Michigan, and Baldwin County.
She is survived by her husband John Siipola of Daphne; daughters, Colleen (Mario) Moceri of Tecumseh, Ontario and Cathy Bredeson of Crystal Like, IL; son, David Madsen of Mattawan, MI; grandchildren, Dante, Jack, Lauren, Kaiden, Kaitlyen, Joseph and Ryan; stepdaughters, Nikki (Cory) Brown of North Bend, WA and Jacqueline (Michael) Marchetti of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Donna (Jim) Robison of Columbus, OH and Pat (Joe) Czapski of Cave Creek, AZ; many other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of Penelope’s life will be held at a later date.
