Penelope “Penny” Ann Cooper, age 69, a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Penny grew up in Theodore, Alabama, and moved to Daphne in 1970.She has been a resident of Spanish Fort for the past 16 years. Penny was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to paint, sing, and loved her pets through the years. Penny never met a stranger and will be missed by all of those whose lives she touched along the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie & Billie Jean Davison; son, Charlie Cooper; daughter, Charity Cooper; sisters Shirley Fulgham and Paulette Davis.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mitch Cooper of Spanish Fort; daughter, Carrie (Tommy) Brewer of Spanish Fort; brother Lonnie (April) Davison of Theodore; grandchildren Haden & Brock Brewer; many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Fairhope Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour before the service.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
