Peggy Lee Poore

   Peggy Lee Spivey Poore, age 74, a native of Tanner Williams, AL and a resident of Daphne, passed away, Monday, October 30, 2017. Peggy married her high school sweet heart and love of her life, John M. Poore, Sr. in 1962 and went on to attended Auburn University from 1962-1964, where she remained an avid fan till her passing. She was a member of City Hope Church. . She is preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Healln Spivey.  Peggy is survived by her husband,: Johnny Poore, Sr. of Daphne; 2 sons: Mike (Penny) Poore of Fort Wayne, IN, Matthew (Xinia) Poore of Hurley, MS; 2 sisters: Katrina Dunn and DeLane Spivey, both of Mobile; 2 brothers: Ronnie Spivey of Atlanta, GA, Donnie Spivey of Wilmer; 4 grandchildren: Blake, Carter, Margaret and Dana; numerous nieces, nephews; other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 12:30PM from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family request donations be made in Peggy’s name to the Children’s Miracle Network or the American Cancer Society.
